Sacramento County is investing billions of dollars to renovate and improve the Fulton Avenue cooridor. This site is dedicated to helping that process along as a resource for news and information about the businesses of Fulton Avenue.
This section serves as a checklist of items to complete before project launch:
Fulton Avenue is an essential bridge that connects the Capitol City Freeway (Business Loop 80) with Highway 50. There is a lot of opportunity in this area and by tapping into that opportunity the local community can be improved. Land value should increase. And hopefully a sense of pride will be developed for the businesses along Fulton Avenue.
Also, this will give me a tightly-focued niche to practice my marketing and programming skills on. There are 5 other cooridors under improvment in Sacramento County and if this works well, I can replicate the process for those. Other highlighted business disctricts could also be included once the process is worked out including the Sunrise Marketplace in Citrus Heights. All of these communities will be stronger for the increased attention and the community can only benefit from that exposure.

I'm using the Wrox book Beginning PHP5, Apache, MySQL Web Development as a guide top build this site. So far, I'm very impressed by the authors' abilities to explain these concepts that have eluded me for years!
