Getting the backlinks of a site

Getting the backlinks of a site is easy to do and just takes a minute of your time.

In Yahoo! type [link:http://domain.com]. See example in Yahoo!

In Google and MSN type [link:domain.com] see example in Google. see example in MSN.

Notice Yahoo! requires the a space and the "http://" prefix before the domain.

Google is the least reliable for this kind of report and displays just a sampling of backlinks. MSN and Yahoo! have much more accurate reporting.

You can also check your competition’s links with this technique. And then go after those same links yourself!
