I started a pet project called Linker’s Union. It’s a site dedicated to link awareness issues like how important links are, how to get links, types of links, how to get links, linking strategies, how to get links, link blocking, and uh… did I mention it will cover how to get links?

I plan to officially launch the site this weekend.
I know that link building fits within the content of 14th Colony but link development is so important for so many issues like PageRank, escaping the sandbox, SERP position and even traffic that I wanted a place to gather resources and help me keep it all strait. That seems a bit beyond what I have planned for this site.
Putting Linker’s Union together has been fast. I got the idea last weekend and wrote the concept on a 3×5 card. Less than a week later the site is live just without much content. I did cheat a bit on this one by using a template by Carlo Forghieri instead of drafting my own design.
So stop on by and post a “good luck” message for me! Or better still, tell your friends by blogging about it.
PS. I almost forgot to mention I did include a small bbPress forum for link chat and exchanges.
