What can a web site do for your business?

Reading Bryan & Jeffrey Eisenberg’s Waiting for Your Cat to Bark? got me thinking about some of the questions my site doesn’t address.
Or rather, doesn’t address *yet*.
The first article I wrote on this is What can a web site do for me? and deals with the value of having a web site. This is a tough issue as there are so many options to contend with and different businesses have different needs. But I think it serves as a good overview.
Here is what I listed, though I’m sure I missed some stuff:
- A web site is an advertisement
- A web site is an employee
- A web site communicates
- A web site makes you available
- A web site can increase your company value
- A web site can craft your image
What else can a web site do for you?
