Do you think it has been too long since I posted? I do. Here’s why.

Five days is a long time in the blogoshpere. I’m sure some of you are seeing this in your feed reader trying to remember what this site is about and why you subscribed.
This site is about online business. It leans on a few topics like website promotion through SEO. And with that comes the inevitable “see, Google is evil” posts. And the “make (more) money with Adsense” posts so I think it balances out.
So what’s with the title? Is 5 days really too long between posts? For this site it is.
I check my stats every day to see if I’m slipping. Well, I’ve been slipping but I didn’t want to write anything until I knew what was going on with my guest poster assignments.
The first is How to Build Traffic to Your Blog … and keep it on SEOlogs. Badi and I talked about doing a post exchange for more than a year so I’m excited something finally happened. And boy, did it happen! That post is one of my better ones in a while and it shows. It went hot on sphinn.
Badi’s going to take some time to write something up for this site because he is super-busy with his promotion to win the MyBlogLog Community Building Contest. Right now he’s in 4th Place and gaining! In fact, Badi is so determined to win, he’s giving away $2,000 in prizes to people that help him out. Be sure to check out his site for details.
The second post I wrote for Steven at YellowHouseHosting which is a lot more than just hosting. That post goes live Wednesday and covers a very important - yet often overlooked - topic: usability.
The post title is Help your viewers help themselves: usability tips. I have not written much about usability and that article is a great overview of my philosophy so be sure to tune into YellowHouseHosting on Wednesday to check it out.
I’ve had a lot of fun with these guest posts. They stretched me in interesting ways because I asked the site owners what they wanted me to write about. Traffic growth and usability are great topics and it made me stop and think about my own process.
If you have a blog and are looking for a guest writer, hit me up. I’d like to do some more of this. Also, if you are interested in writing a guest post, why not do it here?

Thanks for the mention Randall, and I thought your post on SEOlogs was amazing. There are some seriously great tips there.
You have an open invitation to post at SEOlogs whenever you feel like it.
