Increasing Ads
by Randall McCarley

Per the Adsense Tips from an Expert article I have added Adsense ads to the blog posts. This has been a long time in coming as these posts have been free for a long time. As anyone who runs a blog can attest to, it is a time consuming process and I hope to make it more cost-effective so that I can put more energy here to increase the quality of the articles for you.
I have been testing Mystery Mentor’s Adsense tips on other sites and found that my earnings have increased and become more consistent. This means I can do projections which is nice.
I have also been watching for complaints. After all, if the ads are turning viewers away they are not serving their purpose. So far there have been no complaints but I always have an open ear so if you have comments or suggestions I would love to hear them. You can drop a line in the comments below or email me.
PS I reviewed Yahoo’s contextual ad program here if you missed it.

I clicked one… you had an intersting adsense ad
Looks good, the 300×250 is the best size, great placement, I applaud it.

Looks Good. But, I’m seeing scouting related ads.
Maybe I could use a scouting knife.

@NY Nerd - Um…
@Badi - I am too. That’s interesting as the word “scout” only appears twice on the page: once on the right bar and once in the URL. Just goes to show how powerful the URL is for targeting Adsense. The new design will get rid of the subfolder so we’ll see what happens then!
