Between running out of town, my wife getting sick (she’s ok now), training two new people, problems with my phone carrier and a new site redesign… blogging has taken a back-seat.

I finally decided on a layout that supports the direction of 14th Colony. It is a whole new look. You’ll just have to wait and see what that means. ;-)

Most important, I am updating the content of some of the articles. I am also merging some. And one or two will be deleted. This was a tough decision for me as messing with content can lead to problems in the search engines but I don’t see any major problems with what I have in mind and if there are any problems I think it is better to learn on my own site than on a client’s. Plus, it’ll give me some interesting new things to watch and write about.

What I want is a handful of really useful articles instead of a bunch of ok ones. The same applies to the blog: I want to diversify the content some more and increase the quality of what I post. This will probably mean cutting down on how often I add something but when I do it will be more worth while for you.

I don’t want to give away too much but 14th Colony is growing fast and the website needs to keep up with that growth.
